SEBASTIAN October Review by
Bookviews.com:
Though fiction, Sebastian: The Life of J.S. Bach by RuthAnn Ridley ... qualifies to be included as a fascinating and utterly believable story of the great composer’s life. Having thoroughly researched her subject, she makes him come alive in the setting of his family, his friends, and even his enemies. The author is a magna cum laude graduate of Baylor University with a degree in music. A classical pianist, she is working on a second novel and I, for one, am looking forward to it. Until then, you can get into the life of Bach by reading her first one.
Finalist in the Historical Fiction category
for "Sebastian" in ForeWord Magazine's Book of the Year (2003) Awards program!
